Stretched Labia Pickings

Who are The Suburbs and Why Are They on my TV?

After the victory of the Arcade Fire at the Grammy Awards, an increasingly plaintive chorus is lifted from the web .... Who the fuck is Arcade Fire? Senza soffermarsi a indagare i perchè dietro questo paradosso della musica moderna, è much more fun to sit and watch the strange dynamic that these 'events' triggered. After years of indie snobbery, there was a change of course. The adepts of Bieber / Gaga / Eminem rebel. Who are the Arcade Fire, but who has ever heard, but have never sold a record?, Because they seem to have just emerged from a farm? (This made me laugh a lot), look what you do not call arcade fire, that is the title of the song, they are The Suburbs. Pop fans of the world united, scream your disappointment!
The apparent confusion in the Barbara Streisand read the name of the winner was just the beginning.
The day after the grammy is born this tumblr, which collects confused and angry reactions from the people : http://whoisarcadefire.tumblr.com/ .
For their part, the Arcade Fire seem to be well aware of this general disbelief (being the first not to believe them) and last night, after winning two awards at the Brit Awards, Win Butler has thought well to advise the people go to Google and find out who these farmers who are winning awards everywhere:
They also played Ready to Start, and this time it went better than Grammy:

However, while the rest of the world independent artists win awards (which are nominally at least) prestigious, we started SanRemo ( with gruesome viewing figures, among other things ). There is even the remote possibility that I look at it, but I keep updated here.

Best Band of 2010, Worst Dressed Band of all time. Love.
